I have bought MOTOROLA ROKER Z6 mobile from one of the UNIVERSAL Outlets in Bangalore. I am having valid bill and guarantee card and all the documents with me. The IMEI number of the phone is 355556010282400. But on yesterday (30 Nov 09 ), when i verified the validity of the said number by dialing IMEI 355556010282400 and sent and SMS on 57886, to my utter surprise I was informed that the IMEI number of the phone is invalid. And today, the 1st Dec 09, the TATA DOCOMO SIM card I had put in the mobile has been locked owing to which I can neither make a call nor receive/ attend a call. How a mobile company of your stature can produce mobile phones with invalid IMEI? I hereby request you to inform me as to what I should do to come out of this quandary. Pls advice me urgently.
